5/4" Radius Edge Decking 

There are two grade for Radius Edge Decking - Standard and Premium.  

Standard 5/4" Radius Edge Decking will have large knots, and very limited bark and wane.  

Premium 5/4" will be just below a "D" grade, and be mostly clear with a few small dime and quarter-sized knots per board.  It will have no bark and wane.  

 Available Sizes: 

  -Radius Edge Decking with a 1/8" eased edge 

  -Ground Contact treatment for improved longevity 

  -Premium decking is a very high grade, just shy of a "D"

CCA Treated Timbers   

All CCA Timbers are a true #2&btr, meaning that ~30% will be an actual #1.  Expect four square edges, and a nice looking timber.

 When to use Ground Contact versus Above Ground?

Recent changes to AWPA guidelines now state that treated lumber must be Ground Contact when it touches the ground, is within 6" of the ground, or in uses considered difficult to maintain, repair, or replace and critical to the performance and safety of the structure.
